Austrian Railways were due to start running their Nightjet sleeper train between Amsterdam & Austria from the start of the new timetable on 13 December 2020. Due to lockdowns in various countries, the start of this new service has been postponed until February or March, although there's no confirmed start date yet. The start of the 3 times a week Brussels-Vienna Nightjet is also postponed. See www.nightjet.com.
The Nightjet sleeper train to Munich, Innsbruck & Vienna will start in Dusseldorf at 21:43. You should take the 18:38 ICE from Amsterdam Centraal to Dusseldorf to connect.
The Nightjet sleeper train to Munich, Innsbruck & Vienna will leave Cologne Hbf at 22:16. You should take the 17:25 Thalys from Brussels Midi to Cologne Hbf to connect.
The Nightjet sleeper train from Munich, Innsbruck & Vienna will terminate at Dusseldorf at 07:23. You should take the 09:09 ICE from Dusseldorf to Amsterdam Centraal arriving 11:28.
The Nightjet sleeper train from Munich, Innsbruck & Vienna will arrive at Cologne Hbf at 06:51. You should take the 07:42 ICE from Cologne Hbf to Brussels Midi arriving 09:35.
It's now been confirmed that even the Dusseldorf/Cologne - Vienna/Munich/Innsbruck Nightjet will be suspended until 10 December 2020 and again between 10 January & 9 February 2021, see www.nightjet.com.
